Congratulations To All Winners Of The 2019 Season

So who were the Winners?

As always the competition for the Trophies was keenly contested by all golfers.What makes the South West Transport Golf Society so great is that we have golfers who play in the right spirit and who always put the enjoyment of the day first and the winning second.

Well almost everyone, as Mr Richard Lane won the Victor Ludorum (The Abertawe Cup) for the best 4 rounds scored collectively throughout the season, whilst picking up an additional Avon Trophy at Long Sutton.

Mr Dave Buckland (Lancaster Trophy) who won at The Kendleshire Golf Club and finishing runner up to Richard Lane and therefore wins the Derek February Cup.

The Par 3 Competition played throughout the season has proven popular in its second year and on count back, Mr John Watkins won from Leighton Jenkins. He has won the Alan Bracey Snr Trophy and a Hugo Boss Sports Watch valued at £300.00

Other Cup winners were Paul Claridge (Continental Cup) at Painswick,Stephen Seymour (President Cup) at Bream, Mr Steve Richards (Captains Cup) at The Manor House and Mr Andy Johns (Tony Watts Trophy) at Sham Castle.
