With just over 3 weeks to the first meeting of the 2019 season, its time to get swinging those clubs and getting prepared for what as be described as an interesting course for everyone. Painswick Golf Club offers a very fair challenge for all golfers.

With a fair number of people who have already paid ther subs and meeting fee, I shall be busy chasing up those who still havent paid.

The format will be as usual with 18 holes of competition (9 Hole Stableford + a team game) which will depend on the number of golfers attending.

PIanswick Golf Club

The cost of the day is £40.00 which includes bacon roll and coffee on arrival and a 2 course meal after the golf.

With the start of the new season comes the fresh start of the Par 3 Competition which was won by Graham Brunsdon in its first season. He will be presented with his Hugo Boss watch and the Alan Bracey Senior Trophy. Will he defend his title this year.

Also as the Secretary was away at the last general meeting there will be a brief update on the financial state although this can be viewed on the web site and the prize giving for the Trophies that were won last year.

As it proved popular last year, the raffle prize will be a dozen Titliest Pro V's donated by Seymour & Co. If anyone else wishes to advertise their company services or sponsor a day, please get in touch. Every piece of extra income allows us to play better courses and better prizes.

A format of the day will sent out to all members by Wednesday 20 March 2019 and please Gentleman reply asap as it makes my life just that little bit easier

Stephen Seymour - Secretary
